Operational Risk Awareness
Programmes for Malaysian Organisations

Three structured offerings — from self-paced staff learning through to a fully designed internal programme — each built around practical operational contexts rather than abstract theory.

Back to Home View Approach

How We Structure Every Engagement

Each Stratos programme starts from the same premise: operational risk awareness is most useful when it is grounded in the day-to-day realities of the people doing the work. Our materials are designed to prompt structured thinking — not to deliver answers to problems we have not heard.

Whether a participant is working through a self-paced module or sitting in a facilitated session, the experience is built around observable scenarios, practical observation frameworks, and realistic documentation habits. Content is adapted to Malaysian administrative and operational contexts.

Layered Structure

Awareness builds progressively across modules or sessions.

Malaysian Context

Scenarios drawn from local operating environments.

Practical Outputs

Each engagement produces materials the organisation retains.

Facilitator-Led

Workshop and programme elements run by experienced practitioners.

Online course

STR-P01 · SELF-PACED LEARNING

Operational Risk Awareness Online Course

A self-paced online course of seven modules covering everyday operational risk awareness for staff in administrative and process-heavy roles. Topics include common categories of operational risk encountered in office settings, structured ways to record observations, and a glossary primer. Each module is roughly 25 minutes and includes scenario reflections, downloadable summary cards, and an end-of-module self-check.

  • Seven focused modules — each approximately 25 minutes — manageable alongside daily responsibilities.
  • Downloadable summary cards for each module to retain key frameworks after completion.
  • Scenario reflections and end-of-module self-checks reinforce structured thinking habits.
  • Practical glossary of operational risk terminology relevant to Malaysian administrative settings.

How It Works

  2. 02Progress through modules at your own pace — no fixed schedule.
  3. 03Complete scenario reflections and self-checks to consolidate learning.

Workshop

STR-P02 · TEAM WORKSHOP

Covers structured discussion of risk categories relevant to the client's industry context, walk-through of a risk-mapping framework, and a facilitated team exercise to surface day-to-day operational themes. Group size capped at sixteen. Output is a written summary memo highlighting themes raised by the team, suitable as input for management discussion.

  • Structured discussion tailored to the client's specific industry and operational context.

Programme design

STR-P03 · PROGRAMME DESIGN

Internal Risk Awareness Programme Design

A consulting engagement spanning approximately ten weeks to help a mid-sized organisation design its own internal operational risk awareness programme. Includes scoping interviews, mapping of existing internal practices, design of a structured calendar of touchpoints, and creation of facilitator and participant materials. Output is a complete starter programme the client can run internally with the support of their qualified advisors.

  • Scoping interviews to understand your organisation's existing practices before anything is designed.
  • Mapping of existing internal procedures, so the programme builds on what is already in place.
  • A structured annual or quarterly calendar of awareness touchpoints designed to fit your operational rhythm.
  • Both facilitator and participant materials — a complete package your team can run independently.
